On saturday morning, i went to Suntec City at 6.10am to queue for Gundam RX78-2 Ver2.0 because the first 20 person who bought it will have an autograph session with Kunio Okawara, Gundam Mechanical Designer~~ so excited, finally let him sign! OMG, it's like a dream come true!

Bought other kits as well... Totally... wallet bleed! =X

It's been forever since i last posted on the blog... been busy and lazy, besides my sunday are spent at Scale Modelling Club @ Kampong Glam CC, it's the first official modelling club under the wing of the Government, looks like we are getting recognised! Love the place as there are always a bunch of jokers around...

The room is spacious, brightly lit... What more can we ever ask for :D

GSS Started, Takashimaya is having a Toy Universe Sale, went down on friday, and saw PG ZAKU II Char @ $139!!! OMG, that is cheap! therefore i bought that and Hazel II... Currently still working on my nadleeh, very lazy recently, as my nadleeh is very very troublesome, and i made tons of mistakes! spend more than 80% of the time correcting my mistake!

So long never blog.... not because i'm busy, but rather... i'm lazy...

School life really sucks, i have to reach school between 8.30 to 9.00AM everyday to clock in using my fingerprint, then only able to clock out after 5.30PM everyday, if i never turn up, i will be considered as AWOL, sianz.

Nothing much on gunpla recently as I'm quite low morale after melting my kyrios T_T but managed to finished it... will try to post picture up soon... for now it's more on my gunpla hooting bah :P

Last thursday 1st May, Ikea is having a promotion for thie Detolf Glass Cabinet (usual price $99) at $59, my father gave the green light and we went to get one :P so happy that i finally have a proper display cabinet.

As you can see on the inside of the shelf is also my hoot for the same day! :P forgot to take a picture of the unicorn novel though :( really... very poisoned with gunpla... non stop hooting making me all weak now... :P

Met yohzzz and the rest of the guys from hwz forum at achtung and we went on a massive hooting since more than 5 kit will have 50% off. so i only bought MG Hyaku Shiki and a Gifu Castle. haha...

Wah! so long never update! kinda forgot about this blog! LOL! :P nothing much these days... kinda doing up my Kryios for the competition~ hopefully it will turn out good! haha!! accompany Darius aka Genocide_X today to get his ventilation fan... then went to HAG to get some tools and Gaia Clear~~ then went to Nakamoto place to get SD~~ finally found a cheap SD Dendrobium~~~~ my favourite!~ love it~~~

Competition Mood

Competition for gunpla is coming! From now till 23rd May i got all the time i need to finish my model and send it in the photos for competition~ only restricted to gundam 00 kits... my poor astraea won't make it in :( but my graham flag will~ haha~ now working on kyrios 1/100 scale.... so far so good... hopefully this piece of work will get in the competition for display.

Just finished test building my HG 1/144 Throne Eins this early morning(around 1am), quite nice, with very minimal seamline to cover :P i like it that way, i hate sanding hahaa~~ It's overall a nice kit, and the guns are very very long(i like BIG weapons!). Pictures below.

Just reached home from meeting Edwin(Uchihachien), Augustin(Inkedpride), Genocide_x, and Lancelot(they are all fellow forumer from EDMW Official Gundam Thread) At HAG, passed them the decals we order from samueldecal.com together. Already previously meet Augustin and Edwin during the workshop at Toa Payoh organised by sty(uncle steven) :D

Was very tempted to hoot gunpla but already bought from Augustin his fixed up 1/100 Astray Red Frame and 1/100 Sword Impulse Gundam. The articulation of both kit are very very superb, although they are Non Grade, but they joint are very much like MG series, the Astray Red can even squat!! OMG!!

Also bought a Gaia Star Bright Gold paint and Masking Sol from HAG. quite ex... $5 for paint, $8 for masking sol.

Right after that we went for lunch together at the prata shop just opposite Sunshine plaza, after that went with my gf to Excelsior Shopping Centre to buy her Blythe doll... she wanted Honey Bunny but it was sold out :( so she settled for Dainty Biscuit, to me Dainty Biscuit looks very beautiful, even more beautiful than Honey Bunny, Honey Bunny is just cute because of the bunny suit, but as there is third party suit coming in next month, we shall just get the suit~ heheee~~

I start to think she looks really gorgeous =X

Finally finished my Graham's Union Flag Custom, I used Metallic Gray, Metallic Black and Chrome Silver, finished with gloss topcoat, very satisfied with the results~ Pictures below~

Sigh..... Was trying to blog late last night... but couldn't... blogspot is down~ oh my... first time encounter it hehee... well... just wanted to update abit on my life... these few days... it's all about sanding, sanding and more sanding... helped my GF airbrush her strike rogue leg inner frame... looks very glossy and nice~~

Not bad right? quite shiny hor~ these are the 3 paint i used~ heehee~ i'm getting better at mixing paint *grins*

And i also hoot a Zaku II Ver2.0 Char's, apparently i just found out moments ago, Augustin was actually the one who wants it... but i actually bid out from yahoo auction before him... make me feel so guilty now loh... :( sorry Augustin.....

But never the less i am happy to get my hands on this! I simply love Zaku~~ their head is simple mesmerizing :D And the latest Sanguo SD BB Gundam #8~ though i don't know much about sanguo, but these series of SD Gundam are very cute and nice, especially Guan Yu and Si Ma Yi~

Then today, hmm... really tio poison... bought a Qubeley~ was so so so so so so so so tempted to get it since long ago, but doesn't seems to get on my list of "next to buy" haha, but since i'm almost finished collecting those that i like... (still short of Hi-Nu and EX-S) I just bought this today as well.

Also bought some paint from Hobby Art Gallery and Hobby Point today, the Gaia Star Bright Silver is supposed to be a silvery compound for my metallic uses, definitely cheaper than Mr. Hobby Super Metallic, hope it's nice~ heeee~~~

Lack of update

Ah! These few days have been rather busy... busy with what? LOL gunpla hunting, paint hunter, and finishing up my latest work, a 1/144 Gundam Astraea Type F converted from Gundam Exia from Gundam 00, made lots of mistakes, tons and tons of it, my gf also finished the Skygrasper part of her fake PG Strike Rouge, actually it doesn't look so bad, just that the seam line are SOOO big... if you are displaying it, you probably won't really tell until you look up close! Currently working on my Graham's Union Flag Custom that i just bought recently. progressing very slowly as I am trying to make it look perfect :P Some preview below~

Sunday 2nd March, I went out to get more stuff... Now as news have rumour that coming this May all gunpla price will go up by 20 to 30%!!! So I went to get a Zaku II V2.0 Tri-Star~ And also some supplies for my gunpla modelling...

Today went Gundam hunting coz my gf wants to get a No Grade 1/60 Gundam... So we first went to Miniature Hobby at Marina Square... They only sell those china fake Gundam model... got 2 1/60 model there but price was not very cheap... $100+ each...

So we went to Latendo 乐天堂 @ Kallang Leisure Park, because i got a $10 vouch for their anniversary with no minimum purchase, thought of going there to caught a cheap deal or buy a 1/60 kit if there is one... After reaching there, really can't find any 1/60 :( So i look for my own kit that i can buy... Saw HG 1/144 Gundam Throne Eins @ $25!

BUT i only paid $3.75~~~ actually it's like this... All Latendo member get a voucher in their email worth $10 with no minimum purchase, then i already spend $300+ there before as $100 will get me 3point($1 each point) to spend at the shop. and i got 10 points, this cost $25 and since still got 5% off... ended up i only paid $3.75!

RECIEPT AS PROOF!! actually it's like this... OMG, so we made our way back to marina square to buy instead... I request to check the content of the kit, while checking i was asking the boss why different store have different discount and that i actually went over to vivo to check before coming back here... then he explain to me because it was discount duration period.

After checking everything was fine, the boss told me that he would give me 30% for the kit~ haha! luckily i asked! He was a very nice guy~ then bought some paint together as well... Then went home after that... such a tiring day....................

Gundam Hunting Day

Went for Seoul Garden lunch buffet today with my gf and jimmy today at Ngee Ann City~ Don't really have appetite today so i only ate abit, luckily I am paying student price of $11.99++ :P

Ate lunch till around 2PM then went for a walk inside kinokuniya, I am so glad i went to buy my Dengeki Hobby / 电击 Hobby on monday as it was totally out of stock by today! Looks like i really have to email Kinokuniya regarding the magazine every month so I will know when will it arrive =/

Went to Hobby Art Gallery after that to look for Gundam paint, in the end was so tempted to buy a HG 1/144 Graham's Union Flag Custom because it looks so cool....... Bought it at $17, then went to Achtung! Hobby at Parklane to buy 1 litre of thinner for $15(CHEAP!), I used to buy Mr. Hobby Thinner at $15.90 for 400ml! Thanks to Lancelot for sharing good deals~~

Also saw a HY2M Rick Dom at HAG for $259, so so so so so tempted to buy! but no cash................... look at how big and beautiful it looks......... got lights somemore!

Ho ho, i'm catching on to the new blogging craze finally... well for a start let me introduce myself!

My name is Sim Cher, i'm a student at Temasek Poly, currently going to start on my year 3 next semester, my hobby is basically computer and gaming, but now I got something new! Gunpla aka Gundam Modelling! basically i spend quite alot recently on this new hobby but i think it's worth it!

Today i bought something cheap for my gunpla! Action base aka stand for my Gundam, usually they are going for 9.90 and 7.90 EA, but i got it at only 5.50 and 4.50 respectively. well below are the picture of today~
